I’m currently working as an AI Safety Research Engineer, extinguishing the invisible fires that frontier AI are creating in society.

My current career goal is to drive the Explainable AI movement in Singapore, focused on implementing science-driven strategies that ensure Artificial Intelligence comes hand in hand with Human Ethics and Societal Equity.

I strongly believe that Computer Scientists are the Philosophers of the Modern World, and we hold the responsibility to the world to see that our works improve lives, not destroy them.

My life goal is to develop Neural Technologies that allow mankind to persist beyond biological expirations.

I studied at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and graduated with a Dual Degree in Computer Science and Brain & Cognitive Science.

The Human Mind fascinates me, propelling me to pursue an education centered on understanding Intelligence, Cognition and Perception from the Biological and Machine lens.

“How can cognitive models inform improvements in artificial intelligence systems?”

“How can we redesign machine learning algorithms to minimize energy and data use?”

“How do we model the human mind?”

“To what extent is the human mind computational?”

These are the questions that occupy my research interest.

After work, you can find me:
